Born and raised in Wisconsin and central Illinois, Alex Converse began his music career early. At just 14 years old, he started writing songs and developing his vocal skills, laying the foundation for future musical pursuits.  

Seeking new opportunities to grow as an artist, he moved to Arizona in 2022. It was there, after the loss of a family member, that he channeled his family’s grief and love into a tribute song. This creative outlet led to the formation of his first band, Erie Street, where he found his voice and began crafting a unique sound.

Now focused on his solo career, Alex showcases his versatility as a musician. While his primary roles are lead guitar and vocals, he’s known for his adaptability, seamlessly stepping in to play bass or keyboard when needed. His songwriting process is collaborative, working closely with musicians, producers and engineers to shape arrangements that bring his songs to life.

Alex’s music style is eclectic, blending elements of indie, punk and pop rock to create an innovative sound that blends his background and artistic influences. Whether performing on stage or developing songs in the studio, Converse continues to push boundaries, blend styles and pioneer sounds. Alex’s musical and artistic style continues to grow and evolve, always with the hope of connecting with his audience thru his lyrics, sound and performances.
